This has been a very good week for our library patrons.
First, Noah Cilley flew high in Mike Erickson’s plane. That was the prize he chose for reading more books than anyone else in his pre-school Summer Reading group. The picture shows Noah in the co-pilot’s seat.
Joseph Nicholson will go on his fishing trip next week with Mr. Olson. That was the prize he chose for reading the most books in his Young Adult group.
And there is also something new and improved in the library - 9 Internet stations for you to use. With money from an anonymous donor, we have purchased 4 new custom tables from local Amish craftsmen, added 3 new computer stations, new chairs, monitors and headphones. The computers are linked to our new color copier, which also scans and faxes.
You are welcome to use any of these machines. Look for jobs, search for ancestors, get car repair information, or talk with family and friends. Fax your resume or scan in old family pictures to share. The staff will help if you need assistance.
Oh, and people have been known to simply play games on the computers, too.
