Job Description
Street Supreintendent - City of
Elroy
The City of Elroy is accepting
applications for a Street superintendent. Under the direction
of the City Administrator, the Street Superintendent is responsible
for the planning and efficient implementation of work in the Street
Department and will provide effective supervision of Street
Department employees.
An Associate's Degree in Civil
Engineering, Construciton Management or Business Management is
preferred, with five years of experience relating to public works
projects, construction managemnt, maintenance, scheduling or
related work, and at least two years of which have involved
supervisory responsiblilities. Experience working with
underground fuel storage tanks is a plus.
This individual must have strong
leadership capability, organized, and computer literate. The
normal working hours is Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and
will include nights with some weekends. Also required are a
valid WI Motor Vehicle Operators License and a CDL. City of
Elroy residency is required within 6 months of date of hire.
Salary range is $20/hour to $22.06/hour.
