ELROY FOOD PANTRY

Serves residents of the Royall School District. Open Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30p.m. Also the first Thursday of each month from 5:00-6:00pm. The food pantry is located in the basement of the Grace Lutheran Church located at 226 Erickson Street, Elroy, WI 53929.

Parks
Schultz Park

This fine park has the Baraboo River on one side and State Hwy. 80-82 and the "400 bike trail" on the other. There is a swimming pool,  playground, baseball field, volleyball nets, tennis courts, bathrooms, showers and shelters in addition to campsites.  Swimming Pool daily passes are only $3.00 per day for a City of Elroy resident and $4.00 per day for a non-resident.

 

Every year during the last full week-end in June the Elroy Fair will fill the park with exhibits, activities, music and of course the Midway. During this week there will be no camping at the park.

 

Campsites are available on a first come first serve basis. RV's should make reservations for electric sites.

Elroy Commons Trail Shop from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. 608-462-2410

Rental bikes are available at the Trail Shop -for
$12.00 per half day or $20.00 per day.

Schultz Park has two shelters that can be rented
out for reunions, weddings, graduations, etc.  The fireman's shelter and the City's shelter can be
rented for the day for $55.00 each.  Call City Hall to make a reservation.  (608) 462-2400.

Camping Fees at the City Park:

Site per night with electric hook up:
1 RV  + 1 children's tent - $20.00
Up to 2 tents - $20.00
Each additional tent - $6.00

 

Non electric sites per night:
1 tent with 2 people - $10.00
Each additional person - $2.00



Non-Profit Groups:
12 or more people - $2.00 per person
Electric & Water - $20.00 per night


A new dump station is available at the park for RV's. This is included with the camping fee. RV's not camping may use it and if you would like to leave a donation for this convenience there is a drop box at the site.

Allen Thompson Memorial Park

 

This walk in park is located just west of Elroy on State Hwy. 71. There is an underpass under Hwy. 71 connecting to the Elroy-Sparta Trail and the trail leading to the campground is blacktop. There is a small lake near the entrance. This is a self-registering DNR campground with 13 tent sites with fire rings, a water pump and toilets.

 

VISITORS MUST  SELF-REGISTER FOR CAMPING
A surcharge of $5.00 will be charged to unregistered campers.

 

  Six persons maximum allowed per site.
